Description
Bring arena-style performance home with the Ironclad Elite 72" Adjustable Basketball Hoop. Its regulation-size tempered glass backboard, ClearView mounting design, heavy-duty steel pole, and low adjustment range make it a premium choice for serious backyard play.
Who Is It Best For?
The Ironclad Elite is ideal for families with growing athletes, serious driveway players, and customers who want a professional-feeling adjustable system with a full-size 72" backboard.
Why Choose This Model?
- 42" x 72" tempered glass backboard for authentic rebound
- ClearView mounting design with no support bars directly behind the glass
- Heavy-duty 6" x 8" one-piece 7-gauge steel pole
- Spring-assisted crank adjustment from 10' down to 5.5'
The 48" offset adds playing room beneath the basket, while the heavy pole construction helps reduce vibration during aggressive play.
Built to Last
A zinc undercoat, black powder-coat finish, pre-installed post pad, and backboard padding help protect the system during years of outdoor use. Ironclad backs it with a lifetime warranty for basketball-related activity, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
Ironclad Elite vs. Triple Threat: Which Is Right for You?
The Ironclad Elite 72" (FCH684-XXL) and Ironclad Triple Threat 72" (TPT684-XXL) are both premium adjustable in-ground basketball systems. Each has a regulation-size 42" x 72" glass backboard and a heavy-duty 6" x 8" steel post.
Why choose the Elite? Its ClearView backboard mounting design eliminates support bars directly behind the glass for a cleaner, open, arena-style look.
Why choose the Triple Threat? It offers the same backboard dimensions and post size at a lower listed price.
- Ironclad Elite 72": $2,699
- Ironclad Triple Threat 72": $2,599
Our recommendation: Choose the Elite if the ClearView appearance matters to you, or choose the Triple Threat if you prefer to save $100 while retaining a regulation-size glass backboard and substantial steel post. Contact Sports Vista USA if you would like help comparing the two systems.
